All Production is in-house weaving, sizing, warping, sewing, packing & exporting sealed containers from factory.Strand's is a Wal-Mart certified facility since 2012.

Strands Textile Mills Private Ltd, a family-owned business, one of industry's foremost home fashion producers located in Kandla SEZ (Special Economic Zone) state of
Gujarat - 15 miles from the all-weather Kandla Port & 45 miles from the newly established Mundra Port -western part of the cotton rich country INDIA. (About an hour flight from Mumbai). It enjoys best transit times - 17 days east coast and 25 days west coast to USA.
Strands is a vertical manufacturer of wider width woven fabric and exporters of high quality sheets & other home fashion products from India with a sales office in New York & two warehouses - Charleston, SC for east coast Los Angeles, CA for west coast. Strands is in business since 1996 with facility spread over 130,000 square feet area with warehousing capabilities. It produces 6-7 million square yard of wider width woven fabric and over 1 million units of sheets annually with sales volume of over US $15 million.

Production Process

1.Introduction

At Strands, we have a production facility with state-of-the art built-up sheds imported from Australia, advanced equipments with more than 200 experienced workers, quality production and good management control.

2.Warping

The first step in weaving, the warp is the set of length wise yarn through which the fabric is woven. When weaving with a loom, the warp yarns are fully attached before weaving process begins

3.Sizing

On the strength of state-of-the-art Jupiter brand sizing machine to give strength to the warp yarn after the process of warping is completed. It maximizes the feel and color effects of after-finished fabrics while ensuring their quality.

4.Weaving

Equipped with state-of-the-art machines the company provides flexible and speedy product development and sample making, high-efficiency production, and timely delivery. It boasts an annual output capacity of up to 6-7 million meters of fabrics

5.Fabric Inspection

Backed by a skilled workforce, all fabric is checked and sorted as per 4 point system of fabric inspection

6. Spreading & Cutting

Gerber machines from Denmark for evenly laying out the fabric to ensure precision and quality before the fabric goes into stitching.

7. Sewing

The company is equipped with 200 sewing machines from Japan, South Korea & China, like single needle, double needle, button hole, button attach, three thread overlock, five thread overlock, elastic attaching, merrow stitch & zig-zag stitch.

8. Ironing & Packing

High quality steam press equipments along with boiler to produce steam are equipped for perfect product output. All packaging materials like labels, vinyl bags, cartons, pricing, bar codes, etc. is used as required by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for items sold in the US.
